"We are local, but needed a place to stay while our house was having some work done. We were so excited to see The Overlook was open, and I'm even more excited that we booked! They're still finishing the property so not all rooms are available, but I can't wait to visit when they're all done! Beautiful rooms, kind and flexible owners - a must-stay if you're in Saugerties! The luxurious bathrooms are a huge bonus!"

"This brand new mod style low-fuss high-amenity hotel is a great getaway. We had a double bed room which, to our great joy, it turns out each bed had its own lil room! The shower was excellent and the double sink for a double room was a nice touch. Nice lil outdoor area to sit and have coffee in the fresh morning air! "

"This property was so quaint and beautiful, located close enough to Catskill downtown shopping and a farm stand and brewery, yet surrounded by quiet and restful woods. It's nestled in the Catskill Mountains with a lovely pool, a guest kitchen, and play areas. The fireflies even came out for me to enjoy as the sun set! The rooms are huge and neatly kept, the bathroom is scrupulously clean, and the staff is kind and friendly. "

The motel is very clean and organized, the attention was very good from the beginning but I noticed the pool was not available. It is possible because the temperature is already dropping a bit or it is a way to keep us safe because of corona. Definitely, I would book here again."

"Wendy at the front desk was extremely personable and helpful. There is a path through the woods across the street that leads to a waterfall. Loved it. The food and entertainment at the Mountain Brauhaus Restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is made to order and delicious. Thank you."

"This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. The new owner was on site and he’s proud of what he has there as he should be, I’ve been all over this country and never been to such a relaxing place. He plans to open a restaurant soon within the hotel. The...
