Learn more about Boulder
Discover red rock wonders at Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, where hiking trails reveal nature's sculptural genius. The farm-to-table cuisine at Hell's Backbone Grill offers meals worth the journey along Scenic Byway 12. Explore ancient Puebloan history at Anasazi State Park Museum, where artifacts tell stories of early inhabitants. The Burr Trail begins its dramatic journey here, winding through landscapes that seem painted rather than formed. Lower Calf Creek Falls rewards hikers with a desert oasis – a 126-foot waterfall cascading into crystal pools. This tiny town of just 227 souls maintains its frontier spirit, having received electricity only in 1947, making stargazing here particularly spectacular.

Days Inn by Wyndham Torrey Capital Reef
10/10 Excellent
"Our first room had an issue - the air conditioner was not working, and the room smelled a bit musty/mildewy as a result. There were also a few visible stains on the bedding. When I brought the concerns to Judy at the front desk, she was very apologetic and went to work getting us a different room. The only other room of the same configuration (we needed a room that could sleep 6) was occupied, so Judy put us in the extra large suite upstairs, which was very clean, overly spacious, and had a well-functioning A/C unit, for no additional charge. It was a great relief, as there were no other vacancies in town, and it made our one-night stay very enjoyable. THANKS AGAIN JUDY!!"
Ofland Escalante
