The front dest staff were very nice. My room was ok shower was dirty. And the vending machines did not work. Other than that i had a great stay. I only recommend the hotel get a better breakfast variety than cereal.
Very clean, staff is friendly & accommodating - the rooms are uniquely designed & comfortable. I would only suggest that an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be a nice touch for added comfort & privacy.
My stay was brief, but intense. I got there in the evening, was warmly greeted, and given a lovely quick tour. The place is amazing. Then I was shown my room, which is much, much prettier, and more comforting, and welcoming than it had looked in the photos on the website. (And it looked very nice in the photos; but they didn't capture the reality.) It was clean, luxurious, stylish, and it didn't feel at all like a hotel. I felt like I was a guest, but a guest of someone who had provided...
Nice, quiet hotel near the college and easy to find. The bathroom only had a shower instead of a tub, and I had hoped to soak away the road-weariness in a nice bath, but everything else was top-notch. Quiet hours begin at 10 p.m., which we weary travelers appreciated after many hours on the road in heavy traffic. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was outstanding. In addition to the usual self-serve options, there was also a chef who cooked eggs and...
The front desk girl was stuffing her face with food and licked her fingers before asking for my ID. No hello. No please. No thank you. It was loud due to all the motorcycles and needed her to repeat her spearhead on breakfast and pool hours, she almost screamed it unfriendly like. Shame because the room was wonderful! I wish she was as nice
I travel for work frequently and my travels have brought me to Gettysburg many times in the past. Often in my work travels, I'm more concerned with booking a big chain hotel to earn more and more points than anything else. This time, however, I decided to try something different. I chose the Brickhouse Inn because of it's proximity to where I would be working and also because I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before. I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff were all very courteous...
We stayed for two nights in the premier loft cottage and it was lovely. We camp often and typically take our camper but decided to try this option. There was plenty of space, linens were provided and we had a bathroom with shower. Very much like an Air B&B.
I recently stayed at the Gettysburg Sleep Inn and Suites and had as close to a perfect stay as I could have expected. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check-in early and check-out a little late.
My room was a king room that was very comfortable. The best part of the room is that it was very quiet. The AC provided the white noise that I "need" to sleep in a hotel but was not overwhelming. The only minor issue I had was that the shower drain was...
Phil and Betty are wonderful hosts. The house is charming with antique decor and all the modern conveniences. The room was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was delicious
MUCH BETTER THAN EXTENDED STAYS THE HOTEL !!! Although every single room was booked I still had a pleasent stay. The room was clean and the towels were fluffy. Only downside was because of the full house the outside was a bit dirty but I doubt blame them. The morning coffee was better then I thought.
We had a great stay at this hotel. We were excited to have the pool open as well as self-serve breakfast with modifications. My only complaint would be that the front desk staff we mediocre. There was not a friendly warmth that I've had at many other hotels. I needed towels and I was asked to come pick them up at the front desk. (assuming they were short staffed.) A separate time I asked and they said they would bring them to the room. No one ever came.
Other than that we had a great...
