Was a nice clean room and I would stay there again. The only issue I had was that I wanted to install a streaming app on the smart TV and management never provided me with the pin for the Roku. We stayed a couple of nights.
If you are looking for a place to completely unplug and relax here's the place. The cabin I stayed in had no tv or radio, and that was exactly what I wanted and needed.
My wife and I were just looking to get away somewhere new. West Jefferson is a nice drive from Charlotte and the town is very welcoming with great restaurants. We spent time downtown W. Jefferson shopping/eating, then traveled to adjacent towns for a litte more sites. If you're traveling to West Jefferson, I definitely recommend staying at Buffalo Tavern. (And each room has a bathroom. Though it's not seen in the pictures.) We'll be back - planning to add W. Jefferson and Buffalo Tavern...
Everything about The Alleghany Inn was great. Clean, comfortable, great location, very nice staff. It may have some years on it, but they have kept it in great shape. I highly recommend it.
Loved everything about Rhode's Motor Lodge! Exceptionally clean, with parking at your door, restaurant onsite, friendly staff and comfortable beds. They did a great job incorporating the best of what use to be, with the comforts and amenities of today. 1000% recommend staying here!
Took a chance on a new hotel based on the pictures and location, and it paid off. Plenty of parking. Easy access with the check in and room. Very spacious room. Great bathroom. Ceiling fan in the room is great. We were really surprised by the air fryer in the room, and the free drinks and snacks. We've already booked our next stay here.
Nice location within a short driving distance of shops and restaurants. Quick easy check-in. Room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Had a couple relatives come to the room and we were comfortable sitting around talking. Was in the lobby later with them and the lady that checked us in brought all of us a just baked warm chocolate chip cookie!
Sleep Inn is one of the most clean hotels I have stayed lately. Bed are so comfortables, CLEAN and overall it has a pleasant environment.

Lobby was absolutely beautiful ,staff was super friendly. The room could of been cleaned better as far as vacuuming goes. There was multiple fingernails next to the beds and just not cleaned well. Stains on the bed skirts that would come out with a wash. Diner next to the establishment was really good food!Breakfast at the hotel was all over the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. So many options! The best was the make your own waffles! I would definitely stay here again.
