Beautiful clean and modern hotel. Right at the airport. Staff very kind and work hard. Food was delicious but some of the servers could use a little more training but they were very pleasant. Downside is they only provide 1 key card this can be an inconvenience if you’re traveling with someone who remains in the room. The key card controls the power for the room and you need it to operate the elevator. Therefore, you have to keep asking front desk to swipe their key card. Otherwise, hotel is...

I don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Pingwe. This place has the most dreamy views you’ll ever experience in Zanzibar. The staff is impeccable! The bed and breakfast was just perfect. Honestly, everything in me wants to gate keep this place! I’d also want to share more but I also don’t want to give away too much to maintain the pleasant element of surprise. Please, trust your gut like I did and book. Best decision I’ve ever made on a hotel.

WOW, the property is very relaxing. It’s very beautiful and the staff , I mean there perfect from the manager to the waiters/bartenders and women that keep the rooms immaculate. They treated me so well, the food is amazing and the views from the bungalows are very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a beautiful experience of Zanzibar and the spectacular ocean views it has to offer.

Wonderful Stay at Maya Hotel Resort! I had an amazing experience at the Maya Hotel Resort during my 7-day stay. My first impression wasn’t the best, as we arrived at night, and I couldn’t see the ocean because the tide was out. However, in the morning, the water returned, and with better lighting, I was able to fully appreciate the beauty of the resort. The staff were absolutely wonderful—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was good, though there’s definitely room for...

The rooms are great; spacious, clean and well-stocked. Free wireless also made things nice. Our room was on the pool side and the view was still great. If you're a fan of Zanzibari doors, you'll enjoy this place. Breakfast is on the front balcony with a wonderful view overlooking the ocean. The hotel staff is friendly and are available 24 hours. Our flight in was delayed and we arrived later in the evening, but everything was ready to go when we got there; the bellhops were even on-hand to...
