"It was the eve of Ramadan, and we decided to explore Kayaköy and the Rock Monastery first before checking into the hotel. So we arranged to check in online via WhatsApp. We were also able to enter the hotel and our room on our own using the codes that were sent to us, which was very convenient. Although the hotel is a bit off the beaten path, it turned out to be very beautiful with a stunning view of the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. We did not feel confined in Sandia as it has a direct access to the lively boardwalk with restaurants, bars, shops and tour agencies. Water taxi to Fethiya's Marina within 5 minutes walk as well.
