"We stayed for one night in early June, the hotel was bright, fresh and modern. The location is right in the centre of Sandakan and a useful base to explore. We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was better than average and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok, they could have more on offer but what they did they did well. Overall I would stay again."

"For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. The hotel is near the Central Market, Harbour Mall & the promenade plus local shops but don’t get...

"Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though."

"You get what you pay for. This was a budget hotel for us backpacking around Malaysia. It had what we needed. The air con remote didn’t work but the kind start replaced it for us. We got a room clean aswell after the first night. The staff are lovely. Only downside was cockroaches coming up the toilet drain but not sure how this could be prevented maybe a stopper at the top of the drain? We got rid of them with room bug spray."
