The motel was recently remodeled and was very nice. The only place it fell down was the tub wasn't replaced, but that's extremely expensive and not necessary. The breakfast was excellent. The facility was very clean. The staff was beyond helpful. I use a cane and the housekeeper got the maintenance man to help me with a box I had to move to my car. Everyone was cheerful and nice.
The photos on Expedia are outdated. This place had new paint on the outside of building, updated and the rooms and carpet looked like they remodeled it. So it didn’t look as outdated as the photos! Looked better! Parking lot is huge, the area is quiet. Walkable to the beach and loved all the locals and neighborhoods we walked through to get there. Community is safe. The staff was kind!
The room and amenities were beautiful and clean! My one complaint was that it is so very noisy. We were woken up by staff and guests each day starting between 630-730. We stayed 4 nights and this was everyday. We were also on the 1st floor next to the staff only rooms, which was probably the reason for that.
The cabin was wonderful. Wish I had known more about it first . Next time I will bring coffee and food. The town didn't have many places to eat, etc. But we were so close to Santa Cruz that it didn't matter. It's a great place for young families. There is no air condition in cabin but the nights were cool and we were comfortable.
This Courtyard is a standard-looking newer Courtyard, however the management and staff went way above the normal welcome to make sure I was a happy customer. They were so friendly and attentive. The other thing I really liked, was the speedy breakfast bar with Starbucks coffee, fruit or even eggs! I was on my way in no time!
