"A lovely hotel in a small village. The rooms are beautifully renovated with great attention to detail. Possibility to charge e-bikes. The restaurant is amazing, and is recommended in the Michelin guide. Definitely the best dinner on our trip. The breakfast was also outstanding, one of the best we’ve ever had, with delicious homemade dishes that just kept coming in! Highly recommend!"

"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

Room was nice and comfortable and in a quiet top floor corner setting, only slightly marred for tranquillity by a loud minibar that we had difficulty turning off (eventually found the right switch in the middle of the night). Breakfast excellent. Very well located for Trieste transport, restaurants and sights."

"It gave you the feeling of a B&B as there is a separate bedroom, your own bath(shower) and a very comfortable sitting area which has kitchen amenities along with a little fridge. Manuel and Kata were delightful and very helpful. Walking distance to everything. I highly recommend"
