Hotels in Pleasantville

They are in the middle of remodeling, but wait until after 9am to start making noise. There are probably 10 "cheap" motels within a mile or two, but these guys stand out. The property feels really safe. They gave us a nice gift bag with bottled water and snacks at check in, and they have a hot breakfast buffet in the mornings. Plus free parking within 4 miles of downtown. They have a shared patio with porch swings and a basketball hoop, so they are trying to stand out and be a nice...

One night stay for the Rockets ball game. Service was great including valet parking, breakfast was buffet okey and bed was a little firm. Nice room lay and furnishings and loved the hotels Space City theme.

The manager was so nice. Im working nights and need to sleepy during the day, and he put me in the quietest room they had and i slept so good. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and also affordable. 10/10 will stay again.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel lobby smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly. My room was on the 2nd floor, so easy access to the pool and fitness room. Room was huge and clean and looked exactly like the online pictures. The layout of the room and bathroom was great (with plenty of countertop space). There was a fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. Instead of an iron/ironing board, there was a steamer in the closet....

Clean and convient. Wish there was soap bars instead of body wash

I used to live in La Porte, worked in La Porte for 42 years, and retired from La Porte PD in 2016. Now I've moved to deep NE Texas, but have to travel back to La Porte for family functions and football games. This property is the best in town. Always clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We will always stay at this property when we are in town. You should too!

Clean, friendly staff, fantastic vibe!

Drury Inn was very quaint charming place to stay. Located off the highway, but you might almost miss it if you aren’t careful. The inn had very comfy beds and had microwave and mini refrigerator in the room. Shower was good although water pressure could have been better. Room could have been more spacious but had all the basics. Also it was very nice to have a cocktail/dinner hour each evening…a big bonus if you are just tired and don’t feel like going out. Breakfast also was very good...

Ylem is a great hotel. The staff is really sweet, and it provides transportation to MD Anderson Hospital. I will continue to use this hotel in the future.
