I stayed two times in Pharae Palace for only one night the first time and two the second time. Both were pleasant stays. This is an upscale hotel. The location looks over the waterfront. This is a great value in the Kalamata area. The only downside is that you are not right on the beach, but that is more than offset by the fact that, unlike the beach front, it is quiet, every room has a spectacular view and you don't even have to cross the street to go to the beach. The staff are great. The beach front bar is great. Very good, classic Greek food as well. Can't go wrong with this place.
