Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. Yolanda was super friendly and helpful, we spoke French which was easier for her to understand, but her English was much better than our Spanish, LOL. So, our Franglais was a good compromise. She gave us a map of Figueres and offered us tips on where it is safer to walk, and where it was safer to take a taxi (average 12€ - 15€) to all locations around town.
