The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.
If you are looking for a very quiet location with country views, then this is the place. The expansive grounds and pool area are very well maintained. The staff are excellent and certainly make you feel welcome and they are also very helpful. There are only about 20 rooms. Nice touch is providing two bathrobes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The balcony was great for relaxing at night or having coffee in the morning (which the coffee was an added bonus from the hotel). I loved the pool area outside and being able to put my feet in and read. Would stay again!
Property at this resort is very large definitely need a car or Bicycle, lots of walking, This townhouse is far walk to beach (we drove) it had 3 floors 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on 3rd floor and first floor had pullout full couch and 1/2 bath sleeps 6 comfortably lots of space.Modern very clean house, pool was very clean, safe and quiet area, basic stock in the kitchen. Check-in is only after 5 pm

The hot tub was not working during our stay. I had to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the one in the room was very old and didn't blow hot air. The breakfast was ok, basic cereal, bread etc. But you could ask for hot eggs. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
The pool area was beautiful. The distance to the water was an easy walk. The staff were all very nice. We had lunch one day by the pool, and the pizza was amazing! Drinks were reasonable and delicious....

We stayed at ibis as an overnight after a long day of travel, and it was wonderful. The staff was welcoming, even after midnight, and we got drinks from the 24 hour bar to sate our thirst after a long day. The bed was comfortable and the room was convenient. Highly recommend this property for your needs in Faro!
Vila Monte was simply spectacular! The rooms were spacious and beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking! Rui and Oliver at A Terra were so sweet, Ana from housekeeping was just lovely, and Bruno at eh pool was just great! We will definitely be back again but next time stay longer!!
