Desk is only open from 7am to 9pm. We typically arrive late, so thankfully we got in around 8:30 pm! I get cold seats even now at how close we were to sleeping in our car! That said, this was a trip favorite. Super comfy beds, kitchenette (which meant that there was an outside the bathroom sink which is my favorite feature on family trips because it keeps the bathroom from getting backed up with a line), neat property, (FREE movie rental and FREE bike rental!). I had a last minute booking at The Iceberg, and they were extremely accommodating. The hotel has a remote check in system, and I was able to check in late at night. The service was incredibly responsive and helpful. They checked on me half way through my stay to make sure I was enjoying my time, and overall, we're extremely kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit South Lake Tahoe. The room was clean, updated and very comfortable. My family and I will definitely be back.

Again, upgraded -- flat screen TV, electric fireplace that kept me warm throughout the cold night, King bed with soft sheets, soft blanket, beautiful coverlet, large soft pillows.
