The whole staff was outstanding. At the top, Gioconda who surprised me with cutest birthday cake; Matteo and Mario who brought it to me upon my arrival at my breakfast table and Fabio who gave me all the pieces of information I needed with a big smile. It was a real pleasure to have them around every morning with their kind and cheerful attitude.
From the moment I contacted the hotel- several days before check in - to inquire about transportation to the area Maurizio began his very best to help my travel be as comfortable as possible. From booking to check out, the experience was 5 star! It is also fabulous of couples and families. I travel around the world a lot as a solo traveler, and this was my best experience so far! I also stayed in a few places on the island of Elba, before landing here, and this is the BEST part of the island....
We had a room on the top floor with a private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. All of the rooms are only accessible from exterior stairs following the hill. The top floor room was very nice but quite a long haul with a heavy suitcase. It is not for the faint of heart.
This property is beautiful! Your own private beach, aperitivo by the pool, buffet breakfast and multi course lunches and dinners. What more do you need? The rooms are pretty basic, but the views are incredible. Service is excellent and the staff is friendly. We would stay here again.
Couldn’t have a better place for our 2 day trip in Elba. Lorella and her husband were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were given the waterfront apartment which was a highlight of our stay. It was a beautiful, peaceful and quiet section of the island. Great place to stay! Highly recommended!
Very nice little hotel, clean and comfortable room but very small, the breakfast was okay and the staff very nice and there is a free parking, who is very important in this area. The hotel is near a wonderful beach but you have to drive for some minutes, if you want a little life in the evening, good value for the money
The hotel was great, you can reach the beautiful Cavoli beach in five minutes using stairs that start directly from the hotel.
Breakfast was really good as well.
Just the transportation service to other beaches should be improved, times are not reliable.
