This is more an Airbnb than a hotel. It is in a beautiful location out in the countryside with the mountains surrounding it. The owner is exceptionally wonderful. When we didn’t know where to eat since it’s out in the country, he took us to one of the restaurants he helped us pick and arranged transport for us back to the hotel. We had an amazing time. The location was fabulous. The staff and hotel were amazing. We there during August and it was VERY hot in the towns. However, being up at 1500M meant that we were able to sleep and be cooler at night. We will definitely got back!
Everything was fantastic, from the room to the views to the food. I only wish we had stayed longer than a single night, because the hotel offers a lot that we weren't able to take advantage of, such as local tours and a spa.
A beautiful little hotel nestled in a rustic Alpine town. Charming lobby, bar and restaurant. Gracious friendly staff...family owned and operated. Provided us with very courteous service with personal attention and help with tourist information and restaurants. A place we will certainly hope to stay in the next time we return to the Merano area.
We got to hotel around 12:30 even though check in was not until 2, the gentleman at front office said room was ready and let us check in, I was so glad because we were exhausted from long trip. We booked only for one night on the last minute side trip but glad we did, nice quiet little town and the hotel is very close to center town, the property is beautiful and with a garden that you can walk around and admire the flowers and fruit trees.

Anecdote: We decided to stay an extra night but there were no rooms. The manager kindly found us 3 rooms down the road.

Deserves its rating. Other than the breakfast buffet, I ate in the dining room only once so can't comment on the food. The breakfast was sumptuous. Friendly staff; lush, semi-tropical, five-star grounds; pool, spa, all appointed beautifully. Tucked away from traffic but very centrally located, the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet! As five-start implies, it is expensive but provides everything you could want for a meeting or getaway.
Mauro and Cristina are excellent hosts, some of the best we have encountered! They have a beautiful hotel which shows great pride of ownership!
