"I really can't think of anything negative about this place. It was quiet, I loved my bungalow (incl the covered outdoor bathroom), loved the pool, nice pool towels, room amenities incl extras I haven't seen in other hotels in Bali or Sumatra, good A/C, coffee replenished daily, friendly and helpful staff. Suggestion: having slippers and/or a sarong to wear to the pool would be a nice touch. Restaurant and transfer service is higher priced than others available. The warung at the end of the road is good and well-priced."

"We stayed at 4 hotels in Bali and this was the BEST! Super good deal for the luxury you get, everything was WOW and the food at their restaurant was amazing. The only bad thing was that the hot water in the shower would run out after a few minutes, you’ll have to wait for it to heat up again."

"We absolutely loved the Bambootel, it was absolutely beautiful, the service was outstanding and we would definitely stay again. Both the villas and the grounds are immaculate, the staff cannot do enough for you and we found the food at both breakfast and the restaurants really good. Theres plenty to keep you occupied with daily shuttles into Ubud, daily rice terrace walks, frequent yoga and a fully stocked gym."
