"This was the most convenient and lovely stay on Naoshima! Steps from the port and bike rental spots, wonderful staff, and a chic and comfortable room with a sauna. We stayed in Room F and stored our bikes on the porch. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The hotel is located on a hillside not far from Miyaura Port. In the morning, rooms with balconies offer beautiful views and sunrises. Walking to the port doesn’t take long, and along the way you can see the red pumpkin and white birdcage illuminated by lights, creating a unique atmosphere in the evening. "Absolutely beautiful modern ryokan experience. Very quiet. Dining is in the restaurant, not the room, which is fine. Service is lovely by an international, less Japanese staff (needed as there are simply not enough people living on Naoshima to support the museum/tourism). We went in the summer raining season before schools let out, and it was very peaceful."

"Fantastic location near train station and ferry pier for travel to Art Islands Naoshima, Tejima and Inujima where accommodation can be hard to find at peak times.Comfortable room and good breakfast with wide choices. "

"Room wasn’t what we were expecting - beds were on a platform 3 steps up and had cot sides. Also no bathtub - we asked to be moved to a different room and eventually a compromise was found. They said that Expedia has mixed up the photographs between room types "
