"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. Our apartment was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast was interesting and nice, consisting of drinks and toast you helped yourself to, and a surprise breakfast of the day that was prepared fresh (waffles, pancakes, omelettes, fruit salads, etc). Le Bovallon was excellent value, and the host and staff were friendly and went beyond what was expected, even allowing us to have a shower after we had checked out due to our late flight. We loved it, thanks everyone x"

"This is a very well run resort with friendly helpful staff, great food and luxurious surroundings including a white sand beach and several pools. There are plenty of activities like watersports, golf, tennis and paddel and a stylish cocktail bar with a variety of live cover bands performing every evening. Food and drink is expensive so the all inclusive option is a good one. "

"Récemment revenu de deux semaines mémorables en juillet, nous avons passé nos vacances à l’île Maurice, à l’hôtel Solana Beach. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons bénéficié d’un accueil chaleureux : toute l’équipe a été à l’écoute pendant tout le séjour; petit déjeuner et dîner étaient servis à l’heure, avec un service attentionné qui anticipait chacune de nos demandes. Nous avons également profité des soins au Ylang Spa, où des professionnelles telles qu’Usha, Kaelyna et Vima, aux mains expertes, ont rendu chaque massage mémorable. Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Laëtitia et Dominique pour leur excellent accueil ! Le personnel était toujours professionnel et souriant. L’établissement offrait un vrai confort : literie agréable, chambre bien agencée, repas variés, petit-déjeuner copieux et animations du soir parfaitement organisées. C’est un véritable top‑10 pour le Solana Beach ! Le sous-directeur prend le temps de saluer les convives, ajoutant une touche personnelle très appréciée. "A fantastic stay at C Mauritius - recommend in every way. The staff and hospitality make this a really special hotel and is some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. From remembering my name at the restaurant and personally greeting me, to accomodating a late check out and other requests, the staff were always friendly and went the extra mile to look after me. They look after all the details at every step. Can’t be faulted at all. The all inclusive is good value with extensive range of drinks to choose from, and the food at both the buffet and cafe were of good quality. Service at the restaurant was great and made it feel more refined and relaxing than a typical buffet experience. The in room fridge even gets restocked every day as part of the package. If I was being picky, I would potentially just ask for some more variety at breakfast, and some more local Mauritian food to be provided as options at each meal. The beach and pool areas are stunning and the hotel’s communal areas were good too. A great place to relax. The taxi prices from the resort are very expensive, which is worth considering, but that seems to be the case across the whole island. The whole resort was very clean, well maintained, and worth the price. Overall, an amazing stay and would thoroughly recommend. I only stayed for four days but wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I go to Mauritius."
