"Nicely situated hotel in Liege with convenient (cheap) car park across the street; friendly and very helpful staff at reception/concierge desk. Rooms are clear, with good amenities and a spacious bathroom. We had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant where the food was very good. The cook-to-order egg station and wide choice at breakfast for a reasonable price were a plus. We will undoubtedly use the hotel again next time we visit Liege"

This is one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed at. The outside is a small unassuming alley, but open the door and a beautifully constructed hotel. The decor is simultaneously modern and classic all at once, and the rooms are clean, modern, roomy, with great amenities. Staff were very courteous and helpful, and gave me a tour of the hotel before walking me to my room and going through it's features. It simply *feels* good to be here, and I was sad I only stayed one night.

This was our first time in Liege, so we weren't familiar with the area at all. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with the Hotel Hors Chateau. It's incredibly charming with just 9 rooms, and each decorated in a unique and fashionably modern way. The brick walls and decor are too cute! The hotel had just one employee assisting us...who also happened to prepare a personalized breakfast for us the next morning! Room comfort is a 4/5 only because our room was just a bit cold even with the heat...
Walking distance from the train. Quiet room when the windows are closed. Window key available from the front office if you want to open the window. Very cozy veranda in the middle of the hotel. Nice restaurant and bar. Comfortable beds and linens. Fast internet.
Walking distance to city center is more than 1 mile. There are buses available if you need them. Overall, it was a great experience.
