Our breakfast server/chef was so friendly. She wanted to hear our story. She has a great story that she shared after hearing ours. It was rainy and we visited with her for a hour. Great view! Rooms are nice. Unlimited filtered water.
We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. We will definitely return.
We loved staying in the tents, the friendly service we received was fantastic but the highlight for us was the game drive. Bianca was amazing and we got to see Buffalo and Giraffe very close up....and I mean close up. Of course there were Zebra, Springbok, European Fallow Deer, Kudu just to name a few.
The cottages were magical. We loved relaxing on the patio and watching the birds.
Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The landscaping is beautiful and the pool was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast baskets.
We stayed two nights in early March. The inn was a bit hard to find, due to goofy directions from Google maps. It's about 10 km out of town, at the foot of a mountain surrounded by fruit trees, and birds everywhere. Due in part to its remoteness, the manor is incredibly relaxing, and the owner was terrific and very helpful. We had a fabulous one night stay at the manor. The welcome was warm, check-in was quick, the service was professional and warm, the beds were comfy, the environment was peaceful (loved the background ocean sounds) and the breakfast was hearty. Very highly recommended!
