The stay at Wyndham started off bumpy, but Orlando saved the day. First room- the a/c sounded like a high powered vacuum. So Orlando was able to change my room. The rest of the stay was excellent. Staff is helpful. Best mojito in Cartagena is made on the 13th floor. Reasonable menu too. Uber from the Wyndham to any point of interest is most $3-$4 the most. Glad we selected this hotel.
We got the room with the view of Castillo De San Felipe and was amazing.The room was so big and nice.Hot water,nice bath.Near by the Mall.

This is actually my second time staying at this hotel. Most times when I travel, I'm usually by myself (and I'm a female), so being in a location that's super safe and that is walkable to restaurants, entertainment, and transportation is super important to me. My friend and I (2 women) stayed one night and felt safe and looked after by staff. Our room was large and clean. We felt we were among locals and not in a tourist enclave. The best part was being able to walk to the airport for our morning departure flight with no worries about being there on time due to traffic.
Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.
This hotel is incredible!! so close to city center and all main attractions in Cartagena . I one hundred percent recommend it, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast , pool restaurant , carta ajena and rooftop were excellent also so sophisticated. Room was nice and comfortable the only thing i didn't like is there is no microwave mini fridge or ice machine. And the last time i stayed here in 2024 i could have as many guest as i wanted 1 at a time of course with no extra charge. This time i had to pay the same amount as the room for one night for a guest. Other than that the place is in the perfect location
We really enjoyed our stay, our room was a good size with a king bed that was very comfortable, everything in the bathroom worked perfectly
