Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.

Had a great stay that definitely met our expectations. Room was beautiful and comfortable with much needed AC. Perfect, relaxing location with a beautiful pool and beach. The hotel has a newer chef who has upgraded the food which we enjoyed so much we didn’t feel the need to schlep into the busy town. Really nice hotel with really nice people in a really nice location. No complaints, very happy with the service. Everyone was very kind and eager to make our stay enjoyable. What makes or breaks this hotel is location: if you are happy to stay at the hotel and relax in a quiet peaceful setting, then this hotel is for you. If you’re hoping to do some exploring, this place is a bit out of the way.
