This hotel was one of the nicest places to vacation. It's not snobby luxury but very elegant and well run. The staff are very attentive and professional and the facility itself was clean and comfortable. There is a free breakfast buffet for registered guests which is just icing on the cake. Charming central Kalamata hotel in a modernized and comfortable late 19th Century mansion. The hosts, George and Effi, are charming and helpful with dinner reservations, and local information. We will be back. Note- there isn't an elevator here but George is ever helpful with hauling the luggage up the stairs.
Driving through the town we were skepticle about what to find at the Kleopatra Hotel. Even the sign for the hotel is older and could use a facelift.
