We had such an incredible experience staying at Zeavola! The facilities are very well kept, and the grounds are stunning. The staff was so accommodating and always had a smile on their faces. Truthfully, it was very difficult for us to come up with any suggestions for improvement. The only two things we could come up with were 1) there is no ATM in the area where Zeavola is located (so come with cash!) and 2) the website does not do a great job describing logistics on getting to the resort...

I was concerned about booking a hotel on Ko Phi Phi due to the low ratings on most of the hotels. We decided to stay at the Holiday Inn due to having the highest rating on Expedia. The hotel is great it's very quiet, located on the backside of the island away from the main pier. The only downside is if you do want to do a lot of exploring (Bars/Night life) or tours from the main pier it's a $20 water taxi ride one way. We stayed at many different places on Koh Lanta. The Crown Lanta was, by a large measure, the best place we stayed at. The grounds are gorgeous, the location wonderful, and the service impeccable. The breakfast was the second best in our entire Thailand stay (the best being at the unrivaled Mandarin Oriental, a 400+/night hotel). For Xmas Eve, we were staying at the Cha-Da Resort, but decided to attend the Crown Lanta Xmas Eve event instead, which as fantastic.

The Ban Sainai was like staying on a tropical island. It is very spread out, but the staff were always ready to drive you from your room to the pool or reception area. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals at the pool. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and we spent plenty of time there. The resort has a regular shuttle schedule to take you to the beach. This was an awesome experience to stay at the Ban Sainai.
