We only stayed here one night, but the staff were so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are HUGE. Breakfast was very filling, we were offered eggs, an assortment of bread, salad, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool and the games out on the terrace. The manager, Toby, was very friendly and our kids loved his dog, Moon.
The property is centrally located in Porto Novo. The rooms are large and spacious. The hotel decor is really nice. Love the artwork throughout the property. This property is truly a home away from home. The restaurant is good also. I was in Ghana for my Birthday with my 2 sisters. We decided to go to Benin for 2 days . The first hotel was not comfortable but when I went to Benin Royal I really feel like a Queen. The food was excellent. The staff was lovely. Although that I put that we were 3 but 4 in the reservation, The reception did not make a big deal of that. If I go back to Benin, I will definitely return there.
