It is very close to Taichung station (2 minutes walk) and there is a bus station close to the hotel (30 secs walk) and will take you everywhere. Amazing and thoughtful staff - literally every single person I encountered was friendly and professional (and always helpful). Great location - beautiful park and museum right across the street, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and my favorite indie bookstore in Taichung. Highly recommended

hotel is great, a bit out of the way

This small hotel is modern, clean, safe, and very close to the train station and buses. We really appreciate the daily breakfast made fresh to order (there are 5 different options) which made my mornings enjoyable with something to look forward to. Restaurants and shopping are easily accessible within minutes of walking. If schedule had allowed I would've stayed longer to explore more of Taichung. I will save that for the next time I return.

This is my preferred hotel in Taichung. The hotel is always clean, accessible, and the staff is amazing. I was particulary impressed by how clean the carpet on the 9th floor was. I remember staring at the floor a lot wondering if I could find a stain, but I couldn't. I was upgraded to a nice room with more space. I'm always impressed by the layout of the bathroom. We had a pleasant one-night stay. The hotel is clean and well-located with polite staff. It's a five star hotel but in actuality, it is a bit dated so it definitely doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Pricing reflected this so overall it was good value and perfect for our purposes of traveling with elderly parents and eating with relatives across the street at a solid restaurant in a department store.
