"friendly efficient check in, lovely room with fab sea view, efficient A/C which heated when necessary. had originally booked one night but so enjoyed myself ended up staying for three. property well maintained and small pool had enough shade to make relaxing and reading a book enjoyable. food in restaurant excellent and reasonably priced. thoroughly recommended "

"Overall the property was what we expected. Ideal for two persons, doing local daytrips. Basic, safe, clean with a small kitchen, equipped for 2 persons. Clean linen and a comfortable double bed. Typical the apartments one would find in Europe.
We did not use the loose blanket on the bed, but it is in need of a wash."

"a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old.
We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday.
When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied
" In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables""

"This was a wonderful hotel that suited our needs perfectly. It is situated in the road leading to the lagoon, so a quick walk gets you onto the water in no time. The hotel is geared for people doing water sports. There are private lockers on your patio to lock up gear in, hangers for wetsuits and large basins in the shower to wash your gear. The rooms are very comfortable with all you could want. Very comfortable bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious. There is also a water sports center...

"This is the most beautiful, personal hidden gem. The property sits on a residential street, and as soon as you step through the gate you truly feel as though are a guest in someone's home. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a huge bed. The view onto the golf course is peaceful and beautiful. We were cooked breakfast at a time of our choice and had some wonderful coffee, yoghurt, fruit eggs and bacon. Nothing was too much trouble. When we are back in Langebaan, we are heading straight here....

"We loved staying in the tents, the friendly service we received was fantastic but the highlight for us was the game drive. Bianca was amazing and we got to see Buffalo and Giraffe very close up....and I mean close up. Of course there were Zebra, Springbok, European Fallow Deer, Kudu just to name a few."

"We had no problem with our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service and food was excellent. The only drawback was the hotel has a generator, but during loadshedding all the plugs and lights are off. So during the evenings you only have a small light in the room.
If you are an outdoor person, there are lots to do during the day. We will definitely go back if they do an upgrade on their generator."

Bit disappointed that my room did not have an AC and it got quite hot. The spa was also really lovely, but the nail products were disappointing. The experience was great and the therapists were really friendly, but I’d hope for better products next time.
Overall a great place and I’d definitely recommend to others! "
