"Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food. We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur. Lovely area. "

"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. "Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. "
