"Our room was clean and well maintained. City Garden Grand is considerably less costly than many other five-star hotels in Manila yet is able to maintain good standards and provides the necessary amenities. Staff were helpful and efficient. The breakfast buffet was amply stocked, with enough staff to assist if needed. My wife and I took advantage of the spa massage, which was nice. The rooftop restaurant is a pleasant place for a meal or drink also. Overall, a pleasant stay. I will consider returning. "

"My stay at the Makati Shangrila has always been great and I will continue to stay there whenever I go back to the Philippines, most especially the staff, very courteous. My only regret was not able to get a reservation at the Sage Restaurant with my wife for a couples dinner, on Valentine’s Eve, next time will all in advance. I love coming back "
