Superb hotel echoes the colonial grace of the city of Granada and the life of the Spanish grandees. Felt pampered and looked after. Only there one night but would be pleased to return for a week. Friends stayed elsewhere for about the same price which offered facilities for infants, which this hotel does not. Both were lovely places near town centre. For us, this was ideal, though regretted no time for the pool.

The service and accommodations of this hotel is fantastic. My family was traveling in Nicaragua for a week and this was the last portion of our trip, we had a 12:45 am flight the following day. Everyone had a bad case of stomach flu....especially my 5 year old daughter. Rather than charging us for 2 nights the hotel aloud us to remain in the room free of charge till our transportation to the airport arrived. I have never experienced such amazing service in my life. Wonderful place to stay. Food is excellent. Great view. Only problem for me was there were a lot of roaches in the room but other then that great place. Staff takes there sweet time getting to you during dining.
Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. We loved our stay here. There's only 4 rooms total so it feels like a private sanctuary most of the time. Convenient location, peaceful, with beautiful historic and cultural touches. Excellent service and cleanliness too. We'll definitely be back just to stay here.
