Visited for the first time. Seems like a new property and -let me tell you- the views are absolutely stunning! The pictures DO NOT do it justice. The rooms are much, much nicer in person. Easy to get there and, lastly, dont forget to try the shrimp tacos, trust me

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Kal-Mar so much and we definitely will be back for a longer stay. Silvia was very helpful with the instructions and the support personnel was very friendly.

Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

Rooms are amazing - modern, clean, spacious and stylish. We got a room with private balcony that had a hammock and 2 chairs. The view to the ocean was great too - we could actually see the ocean from our bed! But it seems like not all the rooms get the same view. They have a private beach but very rocky so not really good for tanning or getting in the water. Pool was great too - although not too big. What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. Beautiful room, grounds, and just 20 yards from a beach tiki bar/outdoor restaurant. The best stop on my 26 day, 10 hotel trip!

Very nice place to stay, quiet and clean. Amazing view from all rooms. Pool was immaculate and fun to swim in at night and look at the stars. AC was useful due to humidity. We did not need a car but we came for a few days of just going to the beach and not sightseeing. Cabs and public transport easily arranged if we needed.

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep. I wouldn't recommend this place though if you have difficulty walking...

I was looking for a complete getaway that was low key and relaxing. The initial drive to Zipolite from Hautulco took longer than expected. It is about 55 miles away and will take up to 1.5 hours to get there due to the one lane road that twists and turns. This is a gem of a property. It is truly amazing, clean and the owners are super friendly. My wife and I truly had a very relaxing time. I would come back in a heart beat. New most favorite place to visit.
