"I'm so glad I chose this Hotel for my first visit to Istanbul. First and foremost, the hotel is very clean and secure. The bathroom is very clean with great very hot, hot water, and great water pressure. Perfect location for easy access to bus, train, and bridges to many of Istanbul's greatest sights. The neighborhood is safe and as a solo traveler I never felt in danger. Osman is a wonderful hot and always offered tea and a chance to ask questions about the area. Ask him for a Hammam suggestion...
"When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with a smile, offered a free drink anded to my room. It continued everyday. The breakfast for me was a good start to the day before going on tours. Spice market and food area s are nearby and transport for bus and T5 tram and ferry a stone thrown away. Staff are always welcoming and couldn't have asked for more. I enjoyed the view from the terrace while drinking my Turkish tea even the rain we visit again. Thank you "

"The location of the hotel is excellent, overlooking the Bosphorus and close to the old city ,also has easy accessibility to public transport. The staff members were friendly and helped secure a taxi to the airport. The room was clean ,although sometimes there was an unpleasant odour(sewage smell ) from the bathroom. "Was upgraded to a junior suite after my initial stay several days earlier with ALL. Thanks to front desk and concierge, Mahsun who helped with my luggage. Nice breakfast which was sufficient for me. It's centrally located and the best part was there's an airport bus right outside which was most convenient. Thank you very much and I shall be back staying in this hotel in Istanbul. A gem of a find- I thought we were headed to the Four Seasons Istanbul until I found this Marriot Bonvoy hotel as a completely overhauled historical building blocks from the Bosphorous and from the top sites in Istanbul. The architectural and interior design details are impeccable, but pale in comparison to the top notch staff that give a different meaning to hospitality. It has a fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, Wi-Fi and AC. These were our requirements. The bed was okay, I've had worse, the sheets were a little scratchy poly, . Water in shower was hot. Location for us was perfect 8 minutes walk to the T1 we used every day. The owner gives you his WhatsApp number for any communication. He ordered our taxi for us on travel day. Interior isn't fancy but this is a solid budget place to stay.
