"Nice, clean room, good shower, comfortable bed. The plug was stuck in the sink and had to be repaired and there was no signal on the tv, otherwise everything was great, lovely staff, especially the guy who was on in the afternoons. Excellent location"

The Dorint hotel is located close to the Congress center in Augsburg. In about 2 min. you can reach the Tram station which takes you right to the historic city center in about 10 min. There is a Parking option right next to the hotel, in case your arrive via car, and a large park close by e.g. to jogg.
It is a modern hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is extensive and very good.
Checked in quickly with no delays and assigned a room on the 4th (5th floor by USA standards). Room was neat and clean. My room was in the middle of the floor and quiet with a view of the HBhf. Bathroom was fairly clean with traces of mold in the shower stall and the shower door leaked if you did not keep the shower water off the shower door. We had a nice stay. The staff were quite helpful, though not always available. Our room was not large but more than adequate. We liked the breakfast of bread, meat, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal, and caprese salad tomatoes among other things.
Was only there one night so we really didn’t use the kitchen, rooms we nice and bathroom was clean. I just didn’t like the process of trying to get a code for the room so late and then looking for the address on the street in the rain. Location services could have been better.
My stay at the Brauereigasthof & Hotel Maierbräu was wonderful. The family owners and staff were all really nice, accommodating, and made my first trip to Germany amazing. My favorite thing, in addition to the hospitality, was the hotel and how the owners have kept the tradition and furnishing over the years that give you that nostalgic feel.
