I found it a little difficult to adapt to the German standard way of not having 24h reception, but we worked around it. The hotel offers a room-clean opt out and reward you with a free drink instead. "A very charming clean pension/hotel/restaurant located in a very rural setting. Family owned and run. Too remote for business travelers, but very nice for couples or families. There was some equipment and a large lawn area for children to play. Breakfast was very adequate. The "woman of the house" spoke only a little English, but was very helpful wen we were trying to make a phone call within Germany . There was a small parking area. "

Just remember though (especially if you are not staying in the main hotel building, it means they don't bring new toilet rolls or fresh towels..you'll need to ask for these if needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it. My only disappointment was that the Sauna was not open and I specifically chose this hotel for this facility."
