"Amazing location and friendly staff. It’s going through a refurb and the lift is currently out of order but they warned us before hand and offered to help with luggage! The hotel is so quaint and the room was perfect for us (family room)!Our room had an amazing view of the abbey! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant and that was amazing!! 0% alcohol on tap which is amazing (I’m alcohol free and normally stuck with bottles).Planning on many more trips...

The parking was super we got parked outside which was convenient and we were given a parking permit. So that took the stress out of parking as Whitby was busy. The hotel is quirky and fabulous which we loved. We stayed in the crows nest on the the top floor. It had 3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom and seperate toilet. Each room is themed and the kids loved the treasure chest full of dressing up! Our room had beautiful views over the harbour. We went out...

"Definitely different from the soulless norm. Very pleasant greeting from the owners and a lovely served breakfast with some very nice personal touches. A lot of thought had gone into the decor some of which was highly amusing, not least the draped mannikin in the cocktail bar. The cocktails were excellent as well. "Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location.
We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect."

"Excellent location within walking distance of the railway and bus station, easy access to all parts of Whitby. Nice touch by the owners leaving some milk in the fridge. Large Coop store next to the station if you need any supplies. Would definitely stay here again."
