"Clean room. The staff was excellent and the property was a delight. If you are looking for something close to city center this is a bit out of the way. It’s still walkable in any direction but to get to the train station will take you about 20 minutes. Now the great factor about this location is the easy access to Ponte Vecchio, Ufizi gallery and Vivilo’s cafe. The affogato at Vivoli is absolutely to die for. They have various different flavors and types of coffee. If you don’t believe me look it up. You can’t miss it. The hotel is close by to Gustapizza. This place is just as amazing. The entire region is fabulous and you can’t go wrong staying at the Ballestri. I will definitely stay here again. Oh and pay for the balcony room. It over looks the River Arno. You can have morning coffee with a pastry and soak in the views. "

"Fantastic location, walking distance to all the main sights of Florence, ranging from 3 to just 20 plus minutes. Yet it’s inside a quiet, safe street, but upon walking out we’re hit with tons of highly rated sandwich shops, restaurants and so on. Room is impeccably clean, beds are comfortable, toilet and shower are so spacious! Staff are also friendly and helpful, welcoming us warmly, always being on hand to respond to our queries, even booking a taxi for us to the train station on the last day. Just wish the room was a bit more spacious, and that they gave us a change of towels. The towel change occurs after 3 nights, but even though we had gone 3 nights without a change (we stayed 4 nights) and messaged one of the staff to help us with that, the staff said he would change it for us but it didn’t happen. Small hiccup but other than that everything was wonderful."

"What a fun way to stay! Glamping tent is very clean, roomy, and in like-new condition. Maybe a bit cold for winter, but has heating. The tent material makes vibrations on a windy night. Has supermarket within campus (good price!) but closes early at 8pm. Restaurant/bar is exceptional. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Bus route 14 to central Florence is immediately outside the gate, takes 30+ minutes, and is seldom on schedule. Otherwise, walk 10 minutes to nearby train station and take 10 minutes train to Florence station."

"Overall: 9/10. Location: 8/10; Amenities: 10/10; Communication: 10/10 Well-appointed apartment with kitchen facilities. I would have appreciated a basic chair, but my spouse really enjoyed the spa lounger! There were bar-style chairs. We didn’t avail of the spa facilities but those that do would find that a big bonus. Kitchen facilities were great. Well located in a quiet neighborhood with access to the bus service and nearby Tabacchi shops to buy bus tickets. We were given fresh towels and coffee every day, and our room was tidied up. There’s also a Coop grocery store nearby. Would definitely recommend!"
