This was an amazing stay close to Hadrian’s Wall. The hospitality was so amazing that I wished we could have stayed longer! From the warm homemade cherry pastry and offer of water on arrival to the incredible breakfast as we left, every need was taken care of. The room was comfy and clean and we were within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. And the ride to the station with all of our luggage was much appreciated. Incredible hosts!!

I stayed here one night on my way down to the Lake District. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent as was service. (I particularly appreciated that they had gluten free bread available in the morning.) The room was very clean and charming with french doors opening to a private deck. There was a kettle, but a small fridge would have been nice. There was ample parking close to the door. Hosts were very friendly and easy to chat with.
