I enjoyed the most how true the place is to its history. You will, for example, not get bathrooms like this elsewhere today. And it works perfectly. So: welcome to another time and another place!
The room was really clean! The doors and walls are really then. If I spoke the neighbor’s language, I would have known everything he was saying on the phone. Very comfy bed though. I slept like a king. The view was awesome too. Great HVAC system.
Facilities were very clean. Breakfast buffet was good. The pool was nice. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. And the bartender is did a great job as well.
A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view.
The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back.
Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings. Serra de Estrela is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to go back. Their jacuzzi was out of order and their spa pool has only one waterfall working, hence the 4 stars on the condition.
Breakfast is quite good. One of our dinners was superb, the second dinner was so so. Service was nice. All in all I would consider staying there again. You can’t beat the location.

Old olive oil press and mill. All the equipment beautifully integrated in the living space. .Very clean and well maintained . The owner very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay there. I would certainly go back

One of my favorite places in the world. A beautiful property above the clouds with untouchable views. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is top notch, and the rooms are all uniquely beautiful and well appointed. Can't wait to return for a third time!
Armandino and Conceição were terrific hosts. Made us feel right at home. Served a nice little breakfast and coffee. Located a short drive to the center of town. Very easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Would recommend staying here.
