The biggest reason we chose this hotel was because of the kitchen and free parking. The fact that some hotels are charging anywhere from $50 or more to park your car is ridiculous. HOWEVER, this place was a pleasant surprise. The room was huge and the cleanliness, top tier with a chef's kiss. Everything was immaculate!
My only issue, I wish i was able to stay longer. This will be my go to hotel anytime I'm in there area.
To the staff, thanks for everything you do and keep up the AMAZING WORK!
The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained, only thing is that you have to pay for parking which is $12 a day and that adds up if you’re stay for a few days plus you have to pay to use the
I had never stayed in a hostel before, but I was coming to town to do research at the National Archives, and did not need a whole hotel room that I was never going to be in. The beds were comfortable, all of the other guests were respectful and clean, and I got to interact with a variety of people from different places. The internet connection was fast and strong throughout the building, and there was plenty of other entertainment - i.e., TV, games, books, etc - available if you didn't have any...
My wife and I had a great stay here at the Washington Plaza over St Patrick’s Day weekend. The hotel was clean from the grounds, to the rooms, the parking garage was easily accessible. Treasure was amazing at the front desk! It was my second time staying here and will definitely be back! I have stayed elsewhere in DC and seem to enjoy this hotel and the location the best.
The hotel is walking distance to the Smithsonian museums as well as the Capital One Arena, Washington Monument, National...
The Staybridge @ McLean is designed and managed to be adaptive to relaxed and pleasant stay! My suite had a comfortably designed bedroom suite which could be separated from the rest by a set of double French doors. A nice little kitchen equipped with all kitchen essentials. The full Breakfast was a nice eye-opener! The furniture could benefit from restoration though.
We booked our stay after I had a surgical procedure. We were thoroughly pleased with our hotel choice. The facility was very clean. The color choices throughout the hotel were uplifting and calming. The deco was modern and fresh. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Bonus for being close to so many shopping/food options and easy access to the interstate! We would definitely book again for leisure or a weekend getaway!
I almost never leave reviews but my experience here was so good, I want to share it. First thing, yes the rooms are small but the dimensions are listed so there should be no surprise. But also, the room was CLEAN- like immaculately clean and that’s important for me. The week before I’d stayed at a major hotel chain in a large US tourist city for a lot more $ than Motto, and the room was dirty w chipped worn furniture. Even the Motto gym was pristine - and spacious.
I was In DC for museums, both...
