Le Château de la Villedubois is a very special place! It is not a hotel… but really, it’s so much more. The owners are lovely, friendly and very helpful. They are custodians of a rich history and have renovated their family home with integrity and wonderful taste!
You will need your car to get around. It is very private and the rooms are truly spacious and beautifully decorated.
The breakfast offered was perfect. There are quite a few very good restaurants within a 10 mns drive on the outskirts...
We had a nice stay with Jean Luc. He is so earnest and caring. He was always patient and helpful in guiding us to the must-see sights on our list. This is a glimpse of French country living as it was in the past. Enjoyed Jean Luc's crepes of which is rightfully proud.
Lovely Hotel on the edge of town which was perfect for us as we didn't have to drive through the busy town Centre, it was very clean. The staff were helpful and there's a restaurant literally next door.
