The facility is very good. But it's located in the hilltop village. So you have to go up the steps a little.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

This is the most affordable place in L'Aquila area. This pace is AMAZING.

We would definitely return. The rooms are very crisp and clean, decorated with such elegance. It was like a wonderful romantic getaway. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the valley. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The food was remarkable. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality.

Torre del Nera was a beautiful place. Staff was welcoming and due to steep steps, appreciated the electric cart. Good restaurant and I utilized the Spa whic was awesome.can imagine the beauty of this in the fall!

The breakfast buffet was varied and beyond the usual 4 item continental type. Eggs and bacon in a warming dish, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. There were toastable ham and cheese sandwiches and hot and room temperature pastries and cakes. And of course a coffee bar with a gifted barista.

Very kind staff, all speak very good English as well. Room was smaller than expected but it was not an issue. They offer great breakfast too.

My second time at this hotel and does not fail to deliver. I absolutely reccommend

This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance. We still enjoyed our stay...
