Very cool, historic cottages with stone interiors. They're walking distance to the main square and many historical sites. One suggestion is to have a playground in the centre grass area! Although there is a playground in a very nearby park too.

Stay here! A unique, completely comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bungaree Station is a still-functioning sheep farm, founded in 1841 and still run by descendants of the founders. By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. Lyreen’s place is so worth 10 out of 10. Super clean, exceptional amenities , great location, wonderful hosts. No detail has been left out even down to the chocolate left by your bedside . You will want for nothing by staying here . The garden is also worth a walk around.

The motel is better than average in South Australia country locations. It's got what looks like a nice restaurant, but I did not try it. The location is great with the main square of Burra with its eateries and shops within walking distance. The nicest feature in my opinion was that there was a door at the rear of the room that led out to an outside area facing the creek and the greenery around the creek.
