"While this was a comfortable place to stay, because of what it was - an old gaol - it wouldn’t be for everyone. We slept in a cell which was well heated and had a comfortable bed, a toilet and hand basin. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t go there if you’re looking for luxury."

At first, it's a bit surprising the arrival at the hotel: you find a pub and a gambling room, and you must check in at the gambling room.
But when you enter the rooms zone, wow! What a big room, with a comfortable king bed and plenty of space! You have a common kitchen with bacon, eggs, milk, cereals and so where you have to cook your own breakfast, but if you don't mind that (and I didn't), it's a very good option."

"The motel was scrupulously clean and comfortable. Parking right outside your door. This is a budget motel so the facilities are a bit dated but so very clean and comfortable. It is close to a shopping centre and other facilities but also fairly quiet. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended."

There is no reception but check in was very simple and phone correspondence was very good and couldn't do enough to help, very courteous.
Price was very reasonable and would certainly seek out Aloha properties when next we travel. "
