Very pleased with my stay which cheered me up during my cloudy, rainy 4 day stay in Hobart. The bed although a bunk bed was large and comfortable. The attached balcony with table was an added bonus. The shared toilets and shower stalls were always clean. The restaurant below was surprisingly good I had the house special flank steak. Despite the pub being on the ground floor, no patron or restaurant sounds wafted to the room above. Since there is a door between the restaurant and the rooms...

Stayed her for two nights in late November. Located across the street from the Waterfront, the Parliament building and about 200 meters from the Salamanca market area, this hotel is an ideal platform for exploring the many attractions of Hobart. Our room had views of the Waterfront, was comfortably furnished and very clean. The staff was exceptional, going well beyond normal service expectations, including tracking down and returning a cell phone I left in a taxi.

Actually at the historical site of Port Arthur and so beautiful. Tasmania is a place where the light drenches the earth with color - 2with 3 times the UV light of other spots in earth it is unique. The massive and I mean skyscraper size gum trees it is as if you are a child in a fairy tale in a massive forest that opened up into gardens and 1823... this small modest clean and quiet friendly little motel is at the site. Great value and what a wonderful place to visit.
