Absolutely fantastic location, facility and staff. One of the most enjoyable vacations I’ve ever experienced. The location is mesmerizing; the facility itself is breathtakingly beautiful and extremely well-maintained; and the staff are unbelievably courteous, friendly and hard-working. The most attentive group of hotel/resort staff I’ve ever encountered!

This resort should be rated five star not for everything was exceptional. The food, service, the accommodations! The beaches were crystal-clear, turquoise, and calm and beautiful!

Loved the feeling of being on a secluded, peaceful island that felt authentic in design and decor rather than like a Westernized modern hotel. The staff were incredibly nice. There was a variety of delicious and fresh food everyday. The sea activities were plentiful. The massage at the spa was deeply restful and high quality. We stayed at three different places in the Maldives and this was our favorite.

Like many people staying over in the Male area, we arrived on a flight in the late evening and needed a place to stay before we flew to the main resort we had booked for our vacation in the Maldives. Good place to stay , as its super close to beach

All the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Airport transit was flawless, and very easy. Stayed in the Samaan Suite. Bed was comfortable. Had room service every night, so the food is definitely reliable, they also ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and were happy to make dishes according to our needs. I researched every hotel on the main island for an airport transit and Samaan Grand is your best option if you’re looking for a luxurious stay to compliment your next island...

This is a truly beautiful island and we stayed in one of the over water bungalows which were on the smaller side but clean and comfortable. The water is amazing and the food on the island (we were half board) was very good. The spa is great and prices not too high. The only thing that lets this place down is the Dive Center, the staff are RUDE (except the young Spanish guy) the dive manager a small German guy was unbelievably rude and obnoxious. It stopped my husband from doing any further...

Superb from start to finish. Picked us exactly on time from Male airport. Great apartment that was perfect for our needs. Very clean, great location, and delicious breakfast. We will not stay anywhere else in Hulumale from now on. Thank you guys

Nice stay prior to our morning flight. Airport transfer was via taxi and was included in the rate. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous, better than the fancy resort we had just come from. Thomas, the owner of the hotel, was personable and friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Would definitely stay again.

Brand new hotel with a nice design. Rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were fantastic. Everything worked well. This is not a resort island, so if you are looking for those Maldive pristine white beaches you won't find them here but many of the islands are very close by which you can access by boat. Everyone in the hotel was very nice.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We arrived late into Male and they were onsite waiting for us with a car to take us to our hotel. They coordinated the arrival the next morning with our resort and seaplane transfer. A wonderful experience for Americans traveling to Maldives for the first time.

Our honeymoon adventure with Ocean Grande was great, had really good time. Staff was very caring always there to comfort you with all possible means. Never had that kind of stay in any of US hotels that I went to in this limited budget. I should here mention Sudhar (Manager) and Anandhu (house keeping) made our stay of week so special, can not forget it. I have captured most of those wonderful memories. We got whole lot of complimentary stuff, bike riding, kayaking etc to explore the beach...

We had an amazing five days at Kuda Villingili where the service, water villa, food and view could not be faulted.

Spa experience can be improved. Similar hotels in the area have excellent spa areas and services. This hotels spa is rather a small left over space with minimal decoration and aura. Prices are quite high compared to facility.
