"The room was perfect…Spotless clean, amazing helpful staff, They went above and beyond bringing food and directing us to the parking with our limited Italion speaking skills…I would highly recommend staying here!!!!"
"This is the second time we stayed at this charming guest house in central Palermo.
Our room was bigger and more luxurious than the one we stayed in before, it had a comfortable bed and pillows with good AC and wifi. Breakfast was across the street in an attractive cafe, but there were snacks, fresh fruit and drinks available to guests at no extra charge in the main house.
Our host Lucio was outstanding, and he is an excellent communicator - responding quickly to our text messages, recommending...
"Property was very quaint but very safe and convenient for transportation to/from upon arrival/departure. Convenient location for walking to tourist area "
"Katia was a lovely host! This was my first solo trip, and she made the whole experience feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming from the very beginning. She was always available, kind, and helpful whenever I needed anything. The room was spotless, beautiful, and had everything needed (shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, air conditioning). I truly felt at home during my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️"
"Localização excelente…….com staff muito prestativo…….um excelente café da manhã, e a sensação de estar hospedado num antigo Palazzo italiano!! Recomendo muito!!!"
"Great place to stay! Germana was super kind and responsive. They cleaned our rooms each day, gave helpful info when we had questions about the area, gave us a nice breakfast every morning, and even let us keep our bags there after checking out so we could still tour before heading out to our next stop. The rest of our Bnb expereinces in Italy paled in comparison"
"Can I start with what was strange. I wrote that I will be arriving at 20;00 when I made the reservations. But when I arrived at 20:05 the door was closed and they were not aware of my reservation/. Thankfully all doors could be remotely opened and I was able to enter. Glad that it wasn’t raining.
Breakfast was not served in the b&B due circumstances, but they arranged for BF at a local cafe. Funny to eat breakfast like a local.
Lastly checkout was at 10:00. That’s really to early. 11:00 or...

The property is gorgeous and the building is very well maintained. The seaview to the harbor and ocean is serene. There is no noise from the marina or harbor. Staff was very attentive. The rooms were not missing anything. They were generously outfitted with robes, pool sandals, pool bag etc. we had a very memorable stay.
This B&B is located on a pedestrian only street/area and is very quiet. Many restaurants on same and nearby blocks. Mini market and pharmacy no more than 3 blocks away. Short walk to major sights.
The property was quirky and obviously under development. The quirkiness was quite nice, and the owner provided breakfast to order himself. We needed a transfer to the airport on the last day, this was facilitated for us, and the owner offered to prepare breakfast especially early in the circumstances. The one problem was the shower door was missing (due to an accident with a previous client), and this was directly open to the room. In the circumstances and due to my size, this was quite awkward...
My wife and I had a great stay at B&B Opera. The room was clean and quiet. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast. The host, Marco, had a lot of information and gave a lot of good recommendations of places to visit while in town. The place is two blocks from a shuttle bus stop to Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO) and about 2 km from the Palermo Centrale Train Station. The neighborhood is fairly quiet with several mid to high-end stores. I will definitely keep this place in mind for...
I had a good experience. The staff, especially Joshua, was exceptionally helpful, offering maps, restaurant recommendations, and transportation. My room was quiet with a comfortable bed and good amenities. The breakfast buffet is good, but ask for eggs, which will be done to order.
Castelnuovo was excellent. It is a bit hard to find, but the staff is incredibly helpful. The room is large, the bed if comfortable, and everything is very clean. It has a good location not far from the Teatro Massimo and Borgo Vecchio. The breakfast had coffee, cereals, biscotti, and two different breakfast pies. It was nothing spectacular but good. I would highly recommend.
The place is clean and staff is friendly. Very nice breakfast. Street noise comes through so you have to be ready for that. We slept ok but it was rather noisy.
Everything (location, service, room facility and the breakfast buffet) is excellent at the Mercure Palermo Centro. The only thing I like to comment for all European hotels is the lack of a coffee/hot water maker in the room. Going down to the restaurant or the bar for a small pot of hot water each time (3-4 times a night for two tea drinkers) is quite a bother for both the service staff and the guest.
Palermo is a gritty , bustling, in your face city, and the Palmes is a wonderful oasis. It has not kept up with the times, but still feels grand. Over look the worn carpet and you'll be transported back to more civil times.
This place was very clean, great location near the city center, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you plan to visit Palermo.
