Located on the Onsen road, with access to two public baths outside of the hotel, two very well equipped Onsen within the hotel, and the option to reserve a private Onsen as well. Not listed on when booking, but the hotel picked us up from the train station, as well as runs a free shuttle once every morning (940am) to the monkey park. This hotel just reopened in July 2016 as a Marriott and the rooms and facilities are brand new. It is far away from Karuizawa station and town if you don't have a car and the hotel shuttle is very very limited on what they will do for guests. We had good food in town and a nice day at the beautiful art park where the Sonnet restaurant is. People come to Karuizawa for golf and there are many golf courses to choose from.
