Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. I hope...

The building has it's antique style of the city. Located in a great location a block away for a tram. The room we were in was a suite very specious. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Very clean. The staff are amazing! Very helpful and attentive to the guests. Thr cleaning staff were very considerate and professional to our needs. We had great conversations. The breakfast was excellent! The coffee was rich in flavor. We loved everything about the place! Thanks for having us!

Very good value for the money. Clean, modern hotel with good amenities. The location close to Dampoort station a plus, walking distance everywhere. Only 15 min walk to old town center. Staff was super helpful, young, multilingual. On site bar with good snacks and sandwiches. We didn't try their breakfast. Plenty of secure parking underground for a reasonable 22 Euro for 24 hrs. Full kitchen and fridge on the room was another plus. Drinkable tap water, no need to buy bottled water.
