"My room was clean, but elderly and showed signs of years of wear. The shower area had a funky smell, probably years of crud accumulated in the raised marble slab under my feet. The AC also didn't work at all, so on the last few warm days of autumn, the room reached 27 degrees Celsius. All in all, it was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel staff either didn't understand these things to be an issue or simply didn't understand me (even with an electronic translator). I would have to think twice about staying here again. "
